KUSHAN

I am a Mental Health Clinician. It has become a great passion of mine to work alongside clients to help them identify their own values, qualities and strengths. I also believe in assisting clients through a strengths based perspective to acknowledge their own history and the part it plays within their journey. I provide a space for clients that is safe and judgement free, where they are able to explore said journey and decide the path they would like to take towards their future.

I have a Bachelors of Social Work, with practical experience in anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management and emotional regulation. I have worked with both young people and adults, specializing within Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities to encourage social connections and identify complex needs to support the wellbeing of clients.

Assisting clients to build confidence within themselves to achieve their goals at a pace they are comfortable with is my no. 1 goal, and it’s a pleasure to be there for all the steppingstones they may face along the way. Feel free to get in contact for any further questions!

From 1 April 2022, eligible Bupa customers are able to claim benefits for services delivered by Accredited Mental Health Social Workers.

Eligible social workers will be able to provide mental health services to Bupa members holding Ancillary Cover.  The Accredited Mental Health Social Workers must work in private practice and have a Medicare provider number.

Bupa recognises the significant value that Accredited Mental Health Social Workers provide to the mental health sector and through several years of advocacy the AASW has been able to bring about a substantial shift in the way Accredited Mental Health Social Workers are both remunerated and respected for their expertise
